What is a Mailing List? A mailing list is a group of people who exchange e-mails about a focused topic, Islamic education, for example. Everyone receives all the e-mails sent out by members, and any member can respond if s/he chooses.
Why Join? Mailing lists are critical to Islamic education because they allow us to communicate easily even though we are far away from one another. New ideas, requests for advice, helpful information, and so much more can be communicated in one quick click. There is no need to wait for a conference, trip, or even phone call; you can connect immediately.
What is a Discussion Board/Forum? Discussion Boards/Forums are great ways to discuss online. Forums are arranged into categories, and topics with threads can be created. Forums can be searched later to help find previously discussed information.
